Tony Sheehan is a national security consultant. He spent 32 years in government, most recently as Deputy Secretary at Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade responsible for International Security, Humanitarian, Consular, Middle East and Africa, and Legal Divisions. Prior to that he was Commonwealth Counter-Terrorism Coordinator. He has had postings to Taipei, Beijing and Jakarta.
