Paul is the Director of Strategy and Engagement at the NSC Futures Hub.

He is a strategic transformation specialist with over 25 years’ experience working at the intersection of people, technology and disruption. Starting his career as a technology cadet in the mid 90s because he had a modem, he has extensive experience and a skill set focused on solution design and change, informed by user research, engagement and discovery.

Prior to NSC, Paul has had diverse roles across the public and private sector, working in areas including digital transformation, finance, cultural institutions, healthcare, emergency services and intelligence.

Paul is at the NSC on secondment from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

With a focus on innovation and preparedness, Paul is working within the Futures Hub to develop whole-of-nation capability to ensure we change enough; to ensure strategic Australian capabilities are connected, complimentary and coordinated; mission-led, strategy-driven, supported by cultures, behaviours, ways of working, engagement, contestability and validation.
