This program examines the shifting landscape of global power dynamics, exploring how geopolitical competition and strategic rivalries are reshaping regional and national security strategies.
It will assess links between our Indo-Pacific region and wider patterns of global conflict, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine, war in the Middle East and relations among the United States, China and Russia. Designed for policy professionals and analysts, this course offers an in-depth examination of the complex and multifaceted nature of contemporary national security.
Participants will examine key drivers of the global strategic contest – military power, economic and diplomatic influence, technological advancements and ideological divides, as well as changing regional alliances and strategic partnerships. By the end of the day participants will have a clearer understanding of the current landscape and will be equipped to develop informed policies that address the evolving challenges of the global strategic environment.
